Growing up, I think all of us have fond memories of our favorite—and sometimes unforgettable—teachers.
In primary school, I had a teacher who loved wearing mini skirts. Naturally, as boys, we found ourselves unusually attentive in her class!
Then, in secondary school, I had a teacher who believed in the “pinch method” of discipline. It definitely hurt, but looking back, I can’t help but laugh—and I’m thankful, because I still learned a lot from him.
To remember past & current teachers I would like to share a poem:
You light the path with wisdom’s flame,
Guiding each heart, never seeking fame.
With patience deep and kindness true,
The world grows brighter because of you.
You teach us not just books and lore,
But values and dreams, and so much more.
A gentle word, a smile, a hand,
You help us grow, you help us stand.
On this day, we pause to say,
Thank you in every special way.
For every lesson, big or small,
You are the reason we rise tall.
Happy Teacher’s Day! 🌹
